TC 5.0 was thought to be &quot;out&quot; three year ago and I get the strong feeling that without their hard work the TC guys wouldn&#039;t have released it.  
  
All in all we now have BOTH TrueCrypt 5.0 _and_ OSXCrypt as a framework...
